Highly recommended – exceptional care for oral surgery. I recently had oral surgery at the office of Dr. Karl Heinzelmann (Periodontics & Dental Implants of Roswell), and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Dr. Heinzelmann’s skill, experience, and calm, reassuring manner immediately put me at ease. He thoroughly explained the procedure, answered every question, and performed the surgery with precision and care. The office uses modern technology (including 3D imaging for planning), which clearly contributes to the excellent results. The staff was warm, professional, and attentive at every step—scheduling, preparation, the procedure itself, and follow-up. They made what could have been a stressful experience feel manageable and well-supported. Recovery has gone smoothly, and I’m very pleased with the outcome. If you need periodontal care, extractions, implant-related surgery, or related oral surgery in the Roswell/North Fulton area, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Heinzelmann and his team. Truly top-tier care.

Dr. Heinzelmann is an excellent periodontist. He is an absolute expert in the field of dentistry, oral surgery, and health of your teeth, gulf and jaw. He tells you what is going on, how he evaluates your condition(s), and provides all the detail you want ( or don’t want) in your treatment. He also dispels myths about oral care that dentists propagate. I wish I had seen him decades ago - maybe I could have avoided some issues with teeth/gums. Highest recommendation ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can’t say enough good things about my visit today. The periodontist was so thorough and took the time to walk me through everything, making sure I understood what was going on and what the next steps are. You can tell he truly cares about getting to the root of the problem, not just rushing through an appointment. Michelle was amazing as well—she helped get me in quickly and coordinated everything for my next appointment with a prosthodontist. I felt genuinely cared for and so well taken care of from start to finish.

As a new patient Mellisa listened carefully and ensured I got seen by the doctor as soon as possible. This was by far the best experience scheduling an appointment to date. It even got better with the treatment, compassion and professionalism of the doctor and all the staff.

Dr. Karl and the staff are amazing. They took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The office is clean, welcoming, and very well run. I felt genuinely cared for, not rushed. I’m so grateful for the excellent care and would recommend this practice without hesitation.

COMPLETELY RECOMMEND. While a visit to the periodontist is never what you WANT to do, when you MUST, go to DR. HEINZELMANN! My circumstances were somewhat difficult, but Dr. Heinzelmann and his staff have been stellar in every way. They made an appointment for me quickly, explained everything thoroughly, and were very patient when I returned because I couldn't remember all of the details! They take their time in person and I believe that, if needed, they are only a quick call away. Marina and the other staff members are seasoned, excellent technicians and express genuine concern for you as an individual. Dr. Heinzelmann is technically outstanding and has a wealth of experience. If you want the best expertise available, this is the team you need!

One of the assistants are a “little rough around the edges” when it comes to patient interaction. Really like Heinzelman. Very good and thorough. Not inexpensive but very good. Office manager (Michelle) is awesome and always helpful. Highly recommend this practice.
